-Sean

Story: He is the former Pokemon League Champion of Sinnoh. At age 14 ½ years old, he was crowned champion, making him the youngest Champion in history. He was known for his fearsome power and battle spirit, especially when he possessed the power of Giratina. But he did not use him to defeat the previous Champion, his brother, Han. He had held this title for almost 5 years, with his Elite Four, until a young, high-spirited Pokemon trainer, like himself, named Ash had defeated him, even with his Giratina. After his first and last defeat as Pokemon Champion, he took his black katana and put himself into semi-retirement from pokemon training and let his body and mind rest for a period of time along with his pokemon companions. After his long break, he started to beat himself back into shape along with his Pokemon. He motivated both body and mind to find Ash in hopes of an official rematch to regain his title back, without the power of Giratina. But before all of that, he had decided to join the Battle Frontier to meet all kinds of trainers for more experience.

Bio: Sean is a high-spirited trainer who takes battling and pokemon with absolute passion. He started his journey from his hometown, Pallet Town, when he was 10, something similar with Ash. He had traveled through Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, meeting all kinds of pokemon and people. He has also collected badges from every gym he has come across. He has been well-known all over the world as a trainer. He had one ultimate goal to achieve. And that was to defeat his older brother, Han, who was the Sinnoh Pokemon League Champion at the time. He has been known to wear dark colors, especially Navy Blue and Black. Sean stands at a height of 6 ft. exactly. He is a honest, somewhat open-minded, and laidback type of guy. He has a habit of having his right eye closed sometimes, being laidback and easygoing. But when something sets him off, whether its anger or excitement, he has his right eye opened, especially with battles. When he’s angry, he can explode with it. Vito was one of those people who got to experience his anger for hurting a pokemon. He has a unique way of carrying his pokeballs. His pokeballs are attached to the sheath of his black-bladed katana and can detach it and throw it from there. Another thing about Sean is that whenever he's battling, he draws out his sword and has it in hand for show. His battle style is what some people call, innovative. For example, he changed up Kidd’s Seismic Toss into much more powerful attack which he calls, “Ashura Buster”. He trains his pokemon to perform a move in a new way, esepcially with Kidd’s moves. He has a tendancy to nickname all, if not most of his pokemon. He has powerful swordsmanship and takes honor seriously, having to hate people when they cheat their way. He also knows martial arts, being capable of defending himself from other pokemon, just in case. He is close with the current gym leader of Eterna City, Gardenia. He and Gardenia met each other after she was granted the title as the Gym Leader, which happened after rescuing Ailee. Over his journey, he has taken dozens of hits himself and has some of the scars to prove it. Because of his bandana and his spiky hair, especially the one on the back of his neck, his rivals often call him “horseshoe crab”, which comically pisses him off. He has a scar on his nose thanks to a cruel trainer that use to own his Leafeon, Ailee. He sports a slim but powerful body thanks vigoruous training he has put himself through during his years as a pokemon trainer. Sean also has knowledge of berries, herbs, and other things. It’s a fact that he is the older brother of Anabel, the Salon Maiden of the Battle Tower. He had battled her along with the other frontier brains back in Hoenn. He is very close to his older brother, Han, and younger sister, Anabel ever since childhood. He carries a locket which holds a picture of his brother and sister. He also has a childhood photo with his family and their pokemon. Like his sister, he has telepathic powers but chooses to battle the old-fashion way. He can understand pokemon completely thanks to this power. When he battles, he can not only be tactical, he’s also quick on his feet, being able to come up with something new during tight spots in battles. Once he beat the gym leaders of Sinnoh, he headed straight to where his brother was, at the Sinnoh Pokemon League, beating the Elite Four in the process. Even with the power of Giratina in his hand, he chose to beat his brother in a five-pokemon battle. He had finally beaten him after years of journeying as a Pokemon Trainer. His brother was proud that his younger brother was able to achieve his dream goal. From there, he stayed in the very gym where he had his title earned, for around 5 years.


--Rei: He and Rei had met when in the forest of Pallet Town when Rei was a Shinx and Sean was a child. Rei had saved the young Sean from a swarm of Beedrill. Rei followed Sean home all the way from the forest. Sean decided to keep him as a pet. After being inspired by his brother, Han, Sean decicded to have Rei as his first pokemon. Sean and Rei became best of friends and had sticked with each other thick and thin throughout their vast journey through the regions, having to save each other’s skin on many occassions. He has faced many powerful opponents along with his master. Their relationship is equivalent to Ash and Pikachu. Like Pikachu, Rei never wanted to go into a pokeball but stick by Sean’s side. Rei would eventually evolved into a Luxray sometime in Kanto. Rei acts as the veteran leader of Sean’s pokemon. Sean’s pokemon look up to him as the mentor and the level-headed member of the pack. Like Sean, he deeply cares about his friends, especially Ailee. Rei would sometimes shape his master up whenever he’s down. Rei can sometimes act as a wise prankster to Sean. He sometimes wakes up Sean with his thundershock, which is typical for Sean. Rei tends to be very protective of Sean and Ailee. He actually has romantic feelings with Ailee and vice versa. Rei’s electricity has a bluish color to it. He is the most powerful pokemon Sean’s got, after Giratina. He’s well-known all over the regions. Rei may sometimes question Sean’s motivates, but he would never disobey Sean, showing that he would be by his side til the very end of time. He was the one to defeat Han’s most powerful pokemon, Tobu the Flygon. Rei’s signature move is his Discharge, which has saved himself on many occassions. After the epic battle with Ash’s Pikachu, he has forged a friendly rivalry with him.


--Ailee: She was previously owned by the former Gym Leader of Eterna City, Vito. She originally had no nickname When she was an Eevee, she got quite the strict pokemon treatment. Eventually when she became a Leafeon, Vito started to go boot camp on her, especially as a Gym Leader. She couldn’t keep up with his training which lead Vito into whipping her with a lethal whip. She had received abuse from her former master, physically and verbally. From some point on, she was traumatized and couldn’t get into a pokeball anymore. No one in Eterna City knew about her situation. They saw her as an icon of the city and Vito’s false persona. Vito had covered up his cruel ways to keep the public from knowing. Then one day, she was receiving her punishment in Eterna Forest, from Vito, until Rei jumped into the scene, protecting her from further abuse. When Vito went for a lethal whip, Sean jumped in the way to block it and received a serious wound on his face, which was how he got in trademark scar on his nose. After Vito was driven off, Ailee was seriously injured thanks to Vito’s whipping. Sean and Rei took care of Ailee until they got to the pokemon center. Before then, she got to know them somewhat. Ailee was able to experience kindness from a trainer and his pokemon like Sean and Rei. After she recovered in the Pokemon Center, she wanted to join them on their journey as their companion and teammate. She also wanted to be with Rei as she and Rei fell in love with each other. Not only that, but she wanted to experince more of Sean’s kindness and passion for battling, something that Vito really lacked. Sean then gave her the nickname, Ailee. Later, Vito was arrested and she felt instant relief. She could now live a better life from there on and the people of the city are very happy to know that. Ailee is looked at as the bubbly “little sister” of the gang. Like Rei, she never travels in a pokeball but on foot with her beloved master. She’s also very outgoing and active, always excited for anything that’s new. This often leads her, along with the gang, into trouble. But nonetheless, she’s always loved and cared for by every member of the gang. She may be the weakest in Sean’s roster, but even she can hold her own against powerful pokemon. She and Rei not only make a great couple, but also a great tag team duo. She also loves sweet poffins that Sean makes on a few occassions. Although she enjoys watching pokemon contests, her heart is really set on battling. Because of what Sean did to save her, she would never leave him nor disobey him. She always gives 110% for the team thanks to her high willpower.

--Dragoon: He’s the third most powerful pokemon, just behind only Rei. Sean met and caught him as a Gabite. He’s tends to be the cool-headed and tries to appear cool and suave. But he has a very short-temper and loses his composure. He’d eventually evolve into a Garchomp sometime in Sinnoh. He’s always excited and ready for a battle. Whenever he pulls off the final win, he let’s out a mighty roar. He and Arlong tend to be the meanest ones, but they know when to stop. Like the others, he admires Sean and Rei when it comes to respect. He loves going on the offensive with his massive power. He was found in a cave of Wayward, in the exit to be exact. He never let anyone pass unless he was defeated. Sean had pulled that off with Kidd, thanks to his muscle power, which is why he and Kidd have a bit of a rivalry ever since, but it’s a friendly one. He caught it with the Ultra Ball.

--Kidd: The fourth most powerful pokemon, but he’s the strongest in terms of muscular strength. He’s one of the earlier members in his roster. Sean caught him during his through Kanto sometime ago. He was caught as a Machamp and he was one of the toughest to catch, showing that he can sure put up a fight. He’s has a friendly rival with his own teammate, Dragoon. He’s very passionate about his muscles, always posing before and after the battle. Of course, he acts like a typical bodybuilder. What’s unique about him is that he has a unique laughter, “Mahahaha”. Thanks to Sean, he’s a powerful submission specialist. He has the ability to improvise, creating new submissions and also ways to avoid his opponent’s submissions. He also has a unique Seismic Toss, thanks to Sean, which he dubs, “Ashura Buster”. He places an opponent’s neck on his own shoulder and grabs their ankles,wings, or thighs, depending on the pokemon he’s facing. He then jumps high up and lands in a kneeling position. This causes much more damage than a normal Sometimes his opponent can have no neck, like Hitmonlee, but thanks to his improv, he can come up with something new.

--Arlong: The fifth most powerful pokemon in his roster. He’s one of the two meanest pokemon in his roster. But he still gets along well with the other pokemon members. Arlong often gives Sean a ride, along with Rei and Ailee across the waters. How? When Sean and the gang met Arlong, he was the biggest Sharpedo who ruled the rivers of Hoenn. He loves toying with his opponents, which Sean keeps in check to make sure he doesn’t overdo it. He often has a smile on his face, especially during battles. This makes him unique from other Sharpedo. He also has a unique laughter, “Shyahahahaha”, which makes him even more unique. He’s very energetic in the waters. He and Sean rivaled each other in underwater combat, as much as it is strange. Then Rei lend him a hand and Sean was able to capture him with a Great Ball. He’s one of the quickest Sharpedo’s around, making him dangerous and lethal to mess with.

--Yami: While Sean was on his semi-retirement, he came across the Old Chateau somewhere in Eterna Forest, which apparently he and his gang missed at the time. So, they spent the night there and it was one of their biggest mistakes of their lives. He created many illusions and scared the hell out of Sean and the gang, except for Arlong of course. Eventually after some time at night. He had enough and battled Yami and caught him with a Repeat Ball. And so, he is the temporary replacement for Giratina Yami is the trickster of the gang, being a ghost and all. Not only he’s powerful, he’s key in giving his opponent’s status problem, especially with Trick Room. Yami is actually the quiet type, despite of having to scare Sean and his pokemon. But he can open up once he warmed up to the gang.

--Giratina (mentioned only): Giratina is the legendary pokemon that really set Sean’s reputation, other than Rei. Of course, he’s the only one to be its master. The reason why Giratina chose him as its master is a bit of an unknown. It all started when Sean, Rei, and Ailee were going through Turnback Cave and got lost. But they managed to get to the exit of the cave, which no one has ever done before. Then, Giratina appeared before them. Sean used his psychic powers to communicate with it. Giratina just said that he and his friends simply made it through the cave and he would let himself become Sean’s pokemon. Only a very few got to experienced its power, including Ash. Ash barely managed to defeat it with the power of all of his pokemon’s teamwork, which was part of Sean’s rules. Giratina is now currently with Prof. Rowan, in a Master Ball, securely tight from anyone who dares stealing it.
